How NDM Works:
The Nuclear Density Meter emits radiation through the soil and measures the amount reflected back. This data allows us to calculate:
Degree of Saturation-Assesses how much water content is present within the soil, indicating whether the soil is at, above, or below its optimum moisture content.
Compaction Levels-Determines how well the soil has been compacted, which is essential for ensuring the foundation is solid and stable.
Air Void Percentage-Measures the proportion of voids in the soil filled with air, which can significantly impact the strength and durability of the compacted material.
